Building Resiliency: Grants Help Farmers Grapple with Climate Change

Maple Bank Farm, located in Roxbury, Connecticut, is one of the nation’s oldest family run farms, and they raise animals and support local businesses.

Kirby Peters farms Maple Bank Farm, which he leases, along with the farm-stand, from Cathleen and Howard Bronson. Peters had worked at the farm as a teen-ager. Howard and Cathleen have farmed the property since 1980 and Cathleen’s family have farmed it since 1730. Thursday, February 16, 2023, Roxbury, Conn.
